History

IMC Slovakia was founded in 1995 in Považská Bystrica. It is a private company, 100% of which is owned by Slovak members. Since its founding, the company has been dynamicall growing. IMC Slovakia has expanded from a small office with only a few members of staff to a manufacturing and trading company with today's headcount of over 220 employees.

Development milestones:

  • 1995 - Founding IMC Slovakia like MARKETING company
  • 1996 - Bonded material stock launching
  • 1997 - Transformation to the TRADE company
  • 1998 - AKB Slovakia founding - CAD design office
  • 1999 - Joint-venture with Rademaker estabilish, Rademaker Slovakia founding
  • 2000 - Joint-venture with Kisters estabilish, Kisters Slovakia founding
  • 2001 - Transformation to the PRODUCTION - TRADE company
  • 2002 - Joint-venture with Desma estabilish, Desma Slovakia founding
  • 2003 - Trade share purchasing in Kisters Slovakia, KSK Slovakia founding
  • 2004 - Slovakia entry to the EU
  • 2005 - New information system PPS start-up
  • 2006 - Branch house leaunching in easter Slovakia in Sabinov
  • 2007 - Metal Service Centredevelopment, new stock opening
  • 2008 - Heavy assembly hall building
  • 2009 - New production hall 1000 m2 in eastern Slovakia in Lipany building

IMC Slovakia developed from its foundation in 1995, the location changed several times up to present own machinery plant in industrail zone Šebešťanová near by Považská Bystrica.

  1. First office  - the flat of the founder, Mr. Ďurkovský (1995)
  2. Second office - rented rooms in NF building (1997)
  3. Bounded material stock (1997)
  4. AKB Slovakia office, joint-venture CAD design office with german partner (1998)
  5. Third office - rented rooms in SSE buildingin Považská Bystrica (1999)
  6. Start of the present plant building in industrial zone Šebešťanová (2001)
